What are your protocols for Covid-19 ?


  • Nitro Pop is served by our staff only, so no other guests will have access keeping you safe from contamination from other guests.
  • All Popcorn is prepared under a sneeze guard that is covered on 4 sides; the top, front side, left side, and right side. 
  • All of our staff follow food safety procedures to prevent any type of contamination
  • All staff wear gloves
  • All utensils and equipment are washed rinsed and sanitized and stored in protective bags during transit to keep prevent outside contamination
  • All staff must report their health and any symptoms prior to work 


Is Nitro Pop Safe?


Absolutely. Nitro Pop is popcorn that is deep frozen.  It is served at a temperature similar to ice cream. All of the ingredients used are safe to eat.

We also have a special straining and measure method that pairs with popcorn that is designed to receive nitrogen. 


How Long does it stay cold?


Similar to ice cream Nitro Pop warms up fairly quickly.  You can expect it will stay smoky and cold for a couple minutes.


How long is your setup?


Average Setup time is 30 to 45 minutes but will vary based on ease of parking and loading area at each venue


Does it taste good? 


Yes, our popcorn was created by Uncle Pops and are all proven tasty recipes.  Your guests will love it!


Is it Kosher?


Our kettle corn is make with all kosher certified ingredients and we are pending a Star K non diary and Star K dairy certifications. We also offer popcorn made from other popcorn brands that are Kosher.


Is Nitro Pop Dragons Breath?


Yes,  When you eat Nitro Pop you may breath our smoke and it has a Dragons Breath effect.  It's a fun treat and a good ice breaker at parties and events.


Do you come out of state? 


Yes we do, however we do charge travel expenses.  Certain areas like California Bay Area, Chicago, Las Vegas, are reasonably priced. 


What flavors do you have?


For Nitro Pop, we have Kettle Corn, Caramel, Rainbow, and Cookies N Cream

For Nitro Pop Ice Cream , We have vanilla and chocolate ice cream with toppings ; caramel, fudge, sprinkles, caramel and rainbow popcorn 


How long is your serve time? 


Our typical serve time is 2 hours, but we can come and stay as long as you like.  We have served between 45 minutes up to 8 hours per day or more. 


How much can you serve?


For Nitro Pop we can serve 160 per hour per station.  Let us know how  many stations you need.  We have served over 600 per hour

For Nitro Ice Cream we serve up to 100 per hour. 


When do you serve it?


For most events we serve as an early snack or a later treat, however it's up to you. 


Can you see the equipment?

The equipment you can see on the table is part of the nitrogen demonstration that people want to see.  Our other equipment like nirogen tanks are concealed below or behind our table.  We can always keep larger equipment in the back as well.  FYI, we pre-pop our popcorn so there is no mess or extra noise.

Nitro Pop, like many startups, began with a simple idea. Jason Shah was watching the Food Network after a long day at work and noticed how nitrogen could be used in cooking. An experiment in the kitchen led to a new discovery and Nitro Pop was born in 2013. Jason is the Founder of Uncle Pops and is the inventor of Nitro Pop.

Eli has been with Uncle Pops and Nitro Pop since 2015. He is specialties are in training and operations and also a master nitro poptender.  Eliseo has expert knowledge in all aspects of Nitro Pop including the popcorn making process.  


Kelly is an expert in communications and all sales with clients. She has been a part of the Nitro Pop team since the beginning. Kelly is also a new mom and enjoys spending time with her daughter.


Jessica has served Nitro Pop at dozens of events and helps manage the team on site. She is devoted to service and quality and loves being at the events.  Jessica has a background in teaching and is great at engaging kids at Nitro Pop events.
